Christmas

Believe it or not, Christmas is just around the corner. Take a look at what I did for my family card last year. It all folded up nicely and when opened up it was a nice calendar for the upcoming year. If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope to hear from you soon.

60th Birthday Bash

I worked for Kevina and Hutch Schumaker about 6 or 7 years ago when I worked with a Columbus printing company designing their family christmas card. I was put back in contact with Kevina and Hutch back in March and by May I was asked to produce this massive birthday invitation for what started out as 8 and by the time it was a finished product there were 15. All turning 60. So what better way than to throw a party and a huge one at that. The invitation was a square tri-fold. Within the fold was a photoshopped image of all of them. I have been told that the party was a huge success and the invitations were loved by all. I am looking forward to the Schumaker's christmas card.

Birthday Invites

I had two little girls having birthdays that were huge Disney fans. So between the hit High School Musical and the Hannah Montana phenomenon they had both. They were a huge hit and a lot of parents are wanting their daughters to have the same.

Here's the first of what I hope to say more to come.

Emma and Oliver

Welcome

Here it is . . . my blog.

First of all I have to say that if it wasn't for my brother, Jamie, this whole idea of me doing wedding invitations would never have happened. He's the photographer, and a great one at that, and with his beautiful art I can make my own beautiful pieces of art.

I started making invitations about 8 years ago when I worked for a local printing company in Columbus. I loved the idea but they were few and far between. I love working with paper, and I love working with brides. I have toyed with the idea of being a wedding planner, but right now I just don't have the time.

Short background . . . I am married to my wonderful husband Mike and we have a house in Seymour and in that house are our 5 kids. His three and my two. They start at the age of 8 and end at the age of 16. I currently work for South magazine in Franklin and I am attend classes at IUPUC finishing up my Business/Marketing degree.

So without further ado, here's my blog.
